Chalet 16 Dec- 18 Dec

Day 1 (16th Dec 2008)

On the 16th, I woke up at 10am to get ready for the chalet. I'm supposed to meet Lian Siong at 1pm but Jian Wei had a sudden call that we meet later at 2.30pm. Hence, we rescheduled our meeting time to 1.20pm and Lian Siong was late as he forgot to take the class photos. He reached Khatib MRT station at 1.34pm sharp and we set off for the Chalet. We boarded the bus 969 outside Khatib mrt station. Lian Siong's head was giddy and he slept throughout the bus ride whilst I was listening to my mp4 " 25 minutes" by MLTR. After 20 minutes, we reached Tampines bus interchange and we reached there at about 2.10pm which was quite early.

Then we went to the Tampines MRT station which was a long way though. Anyway, after that we boarded the train and went to Pasir Ris MRT Station. We reached there at about 2.15pm and we were still quite early. Then we suggested to go and buy drinks for Jian Wei and the others. We bought some drinks but Jian Wei and the others didn't want some. After leaving the NTUC, we saw Leonard approaching us and we said hi to him. Thereafter, we found Jian Wei and Freddie outside the Pasir Ris MRT station.

Jian Wei brought a UNO spinner which i'll talk more about it later. Jian Wei and the others in cluding Lian Siong brought small bags but for me, my bag was the largest. Lian Siong is not staying overnight but the rest are. While we were chatting, Ivan was still at Tanjong Pagar and after about 20mins, Ivan and Raymond came. After we chatted yet again for sometime, we set off to the Chalet. We boarded bus no. 300 something and after 2 stops we reached the bus-stop. Thereafter, we walked a very long distance before reaching our chalet at Pasir Ris Chalet. Thereafter, we then realised that there is a bus-stop that is nearer to the chalet. We should alight 3 stops thereafter rather than 2.

Thereafter, we reached the chalet. We thought there were 2 storeys but there was only 1. The chalet room number is F-09. Till then, the only people present, is me, Lian Siong, Jian Wei, Freddie, Leonard, Raymond and Ivan. After reaching the chalet, i quickly changed into slippers and shorts. Thereafter, we played card games called "Dai Di" and some other card games which i duno how to play, hence I kept losing. Dai Di is "Big two" where the cards no.2 are the biggest and 3 the smallest. Thereafter, the girls came. Those who came were Fadila, Kareen, Mindy, Xinyi and Nuratiqah. Thereafter they came and played their own card games. After getting bored with "Dai Di", we played Jian Wei's UNO spinner and it was a new experience^^. Nice^^. Alright, moving on Mark and Xin Hui came and joined in the fun. Mark brought his PS2 and wan wondering the location of the switch.

He then realised that there are only 2 of them of which one is for the switch and the other for the TV. Then, he called Zaki to bring the extension cable over. Zaki will come late. Wei Liang came for a while but after that he left as he was stilling having his volleyball chalet. Thereafter at about 5plus to 6. We prepared for the night bbq. In the beginning, the 5.30pm show was broadcasted, i.e. The Shining Star, I didn't watch as I don't like to watch the blind. We roasted satays, chicken wings, potatoes, marshmallows and stingrays. But we only get to eat stingrays late at night. Before that, we began our "feast" the hokkien Mee was the best of all food till then, better to say the least than the pineapple fried rice. We ate chicken satays and chicken wings initially. Thereafter, the 7pm show "Love Blossoms" was broadcasted and almost all of us went in and watch the damn show. I didn't watch thank you very much as I don't like that show. Thereafter, Xin Hui came.

Thereafter at 7.30pm, Lian Siong left and Jian Wei accompanied him to the bus-stop while I take over Jian Wei in cooking the satays. Soon after, Zaki came and he ate the food. After that at 9pm, the show "The Little Nyonya" was broadcasted which I don't like to watch also^^. Thereafter Lewis came as well but he was smoking =.= Anyways, i chatted with him a while as we haven seen each other for almost a year. Then, he went to eaten the bbq food. I also ate the freshly cooked stingray, leaving the burnt ones aside^^. Anyway, after the bbq, me and freddie cleaned up the whole damn place until it sparkles :) Then, I went to play a game called "Catch the Murderer" Well everyone had his first times and I was blur throughout my first game but for the subsequent ones they are better^^. Well after that game, I turned in after bathing. When I was bathing, it was about 1.20am and I was not able to have a hot water bath as I don't know how to adjust the damn shower thingy.

Thereafter, I realised that I have to wait a damn few minutes for the hot water to come out. After that, I turned in but I couldn't sleep as my other friends were still playing their games and making hell lot of noise. At about 4am, I woke up and did not sleep. Thereafter, Ivan slept also with me. But also at that point in time, they were making so much noise that I couldn't sleep again. I do not want to turn them down as they were my classmates. Hence, I held on to the morning. The first damn day was a sleepy one as I did not even get a single SOAB sleep...
